A Moneyline bet is a bet on a team to win a game, irrespective of the points scored.
The odds (or bet prices) of a Moneyline are formatted according to which team is favorite. +100 means the odds are exactly even – a $100 bet returns $200, which is your original stake of $100 plus $100 profit.
Prices on favorites are shown in negative numbers (-110, -120, -200, etc.). This is how much you must bet to win $100.
Prices on underdogs are shown in positive numbers (+110, +120, +200). This is how much profit you make when for every $100 bet.
Example 1: Cincinnati +105, an underdog. You bet $100 and if Cincinnati wins you are returned $205 – your $100 stake and $105 profit.
Example 2: Jacksonville -125, a favorite. You bet $100 and if Jacksonville wins, you are returned $180 – your $100 stake and $80 profit.
